    Version            2.27-1.08

*1: If Windows Vista or 7 64-bit is already installed on your system, then you
must use the BIOS Update CD for the BIOS update.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    WHAT THIS PACKAGE DOES
This package updates the BIOS (including system program and Embedded
Controller program) stored in the ThinkPad computer to fix problems, add new
functions, or expand functions as noted below.
On Windows Vista and 7 64-bit, the BIOS itself is supported, however, this
package for BIOS update does not work.
This program is language independent and can be used with any language system.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update CD for BIOS updates for Windows Vista, 7 64-bit systems.
    - If you use Windows Vista, before applying this BIOS into the system, you
should install Windows Vista KB 937500. The information of KB937500 is located
      in the following Microsoft's site.
        http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937500/en-us

      1. Set the hard disk password in a secondary hard disk.
      2. Hot-attach the secondary hard disk to the computer.
      3. Go into standby mode and then resume normal operation to let Windows Vista
         recognize the hard disk.
      4. Input the hard disk password when a password prompt for the secondary hard
         disk appears.
      5. After the Windows desktop appears, double-click the Computer icon. But, the
